The SDK supports:
=================

- In-app Purchase - Beta.
- In-app Purchase simulation using Nokia Server.
- "Full Touch UI emulation with virtual keypad" in the Emulator.
- System properties simulation like Battery status settings and IMEI.
- Call Simulation between SDK instances.
- SMS and Bluetooth communication between SDK instances.
- Nokia browser.
- 69 Languages.
- MIDlet debugging with supported IDE's.
- Various diagnostics features including on/off, on-the-fly tracing,
  network traffic monitor and MIDP memory monitor.
- Dual SIM support in emulator.
- Accelerometer sensor simulation.

The SDK replicates the UI of the Nokia XXX device, including the general look,
key layout, key definitions, error messages, display and rendering, soft keys
and menu selection.

The SDK allows MIDP tracing of many Java events. You can enable tracing
by using the SDK menu selection: Tools -> Preferences -> MIDP Monitor.
To capture the tracing information to a file, use the SDK command line
interface to start the SDK. For example:
C:\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_SDK_2_0_Java\bin> Emulator -Xnew >>tracelog.txt

Disclaimer:
===========
- While the SDK contains the same software functionality as the Nokia XXX
  it's not identical due to simulations and differences in the hardware.
  It's recommended that final testing is undertaken on a device.

- The PC rendering of colors seen in the Emulator may not match colors
  seen on devices. However, the SDK is ideal for verifying pixel location and
  the general appearance of the handset UI.

- Sound simulation in the SDK doesn't accurately reproduce the device's sound.
  This SDK is not recommended as the primary tool for development of sound
  content. However, it's ideal for verifying sound content as part of application testing.

Compatibility Issues:
=====================
- The SDK may not work well with some sound card/driver combinations.
  In such cases, sound may be inaudible and MIDlets that use MMAPI
  may fail. As a workaround, try replacing the driver for the sound card.

Known Problems and Limitations:
===============================

  Emulator doesnt start if the system has newer version of the JDK 6 than Update 27.
   Releases after that (at least JDK6 Update 29, JDK 7 and JDK 7 Update 1) have a
   RMI Registry Issue bug, which prevents the emulator from starting. Currently only
   workaround is to use the JDK Update 27 or older version. The JDK 6 Update 27
   can be found from here:
   http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html

  Internet access from MIDlet does not work with proxy.

  The SDK does not support In-app purchase Restore functionality with Nokia Server in test mode.
   It is recommended to use the device for testing.

  Scrolling MAP area using Maps API does not work.

  If SDKManager is unable to connect to the online repository, then the SDKManger.exe
   process will not be terminated. Hence, it is recommended to kill the SDKManger.exe
   process from task manager.

  On Windows 7, after documentation integration with NetBeans IDE, NetBeans should be
   launched in administrator mode to complete documentation integration
   (To run NetBeans in administrator mode right click and choose "Run as administrator").

  During uninstall, temporary folders created by SDK are not removed, this can cause
   problems during re-install of the SDK. Hence, it is recommended to remove the temporary
   folders and restart the computer before re-installing the SDK.

  Emulator doesn't launch on Windows 7 64bit with JRE6 64bit.

  Video recording functionality isn't supported in the SDK and hence the video snapshot
   feature doesn't work. It is recommended to use the device for testing.

  The SDK doesn't provide simulation for getTimestamp, getSpeed, getCourse,
   getLocationMethod, getAddressInfo, getExtraInfo methods of JSR-179.

  Accessing the Route editor generated location values through trusted OTA provisioned
   MIDlet doesn't work.

  The Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) isn't supported as part of JSR-135 MMAPI 1.2

  Devices support DRM 2.0, but the SDK is limited to providing DRM 1.0 emulation.

  Same message centre number should be set in the instances for sending and receiving SMS through MIDlets.
