Mobile application platforms
Our platforms and engines aim to enable mobile users to generate and manage their own mobile applications at a click of a button. Specifically, we provide:
-
SMS broadcast solutions (Suara 7) to businesses, media partners and non-profit organizations; key clients include ESQ Leadership Center, WENA, Lembaga Getah Malaysia to name a few.
-
Broadcast engines and support to mobile operators, serving Maxis, DiGi, U-Mobile (and Baraka & Celcom expected shortly)
-
Mobile application building support for consumer brands (such as Anakku, Sapura, Meta Mobile); based on which we have developed a beta version of the MAP platform (Mobile Application and Content Aggregation Toolkit) that allows users to create their own content without any technical know-how.
The beta version of MAP requires native application to be installed on the PC that builds the application. The complete version of MAP will be web-based and allows user generated content management and application building. Traditionally, we have focused on J2ME applications for Nokia phones (60% of devices in Malaysia), and to support MAP's universal acceptance, we have a development plan to expand the platform to include iPhone, Android, BADA and other future mobile operating systems.
MAP will leverage on existing marketplace by ensuring that all applications built on MAP will have the required certification to be able to be sold in application stores such as OVI, iStore, Maxis 1Store, BADA for a start. MAP will also provide it's own platform called MADCAT World, an Internet and mobile portal and community that allows consumers to share and market applications created via MAP.
